Most of these paintings are now a few years old. Whilst not without elements of abstraction, they all have an aspect of the human figure and they chart my transition from figurative to abstraction. These paintings are still very important to me. These paintings are all tackling the themes of sex and death as fundamental facets of human life. From time to time I still paint figuratively - either because it makes sense to me at that moment in time, or, as a sketch/practice sort of thing
